CV Decoded HQ is a digital product business operated as a sole trader in Ireland. We publish and sell career and recruitment intelligence products, including PDF guides, template packs, and written assessment services, via our website at cvdecodedhq.com.
References to "we," "us," or "our" in these terms refer to CV Decoded HQ. References to "you" or "your" refer to the customer or website visitor.
By accessing our website or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or purchase our products.
These terms apply to all purchases made via cvdecodedhq.com or via our product pages on Payhip (payhip.com).
We offer the following categories of product and service:
Downloadable PDF documents including interview guides, the Recruiter Red Flags Playbook, CV template packs, the Recruiter Vocabulary guide, sector-specific Candidate Packs, and the Complete Hiring Intelligence Pack. These are delivered as instant downloads via Payhip upon payment.
The Recruiter X-Ray and Application Autopsy services involve submission of CV and/or job application content via an intake form, followed by delivery of a written assessment report within the stated turnaround time (currently 48 working hours). These are delivered by email as a PDF document.
An optional free email newsletter containing recruiter insights and hiring intelligence. Subscription is entirely voluntary and you may unsubscribe at any time.
All product descriptions, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any product or service at any time.
All prices displayed on our website are in Euro (€) and include applicable VAT where required. Payhip, our payment processor, calculates and collects VAT automatically based on your location.
Payment is processed securely by Payhip using Stripe. We do not receive, see, or store your payment card details at any point. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Payhip's Terms of Service at payhip.com/terms.
A purchase confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide at checkout. Please retain this confirmation as your proof of purchase.
Digital PDF products are delivered immediately upon payment via a download link sent to your email address by Payhip. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address you provide at checkout is correct.
If you experience a technical issue with downloading your product, please contact us at hello@hiredecoded.com and we will resolve it promptly.
Written assessments (Recruiter X-Ray and Application Autopsy) are delivered as a PDF report to the email address you provide in your intake form submission, within 48 working hours of receipt of your complete submission and payment confirmation.
Availability of written assessments is limited. We reserve the right to operate a waiting list during periods of high demand. If delivery is expected to take longer than 48 working hours, we will notify you by email.
Under the European Union (Consumer Rights) Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in Ireland by the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital content purchases. However, by proceeding with your download, you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the download has commenced.
This is standard practice for digital downloads and is permitted under EU consumer law. You are advised to review the product description carefully before purchasing.
Written assessments may be cancelled for a full refund if cancelled before we have begun work on your assessment. To cancel, email hello@hiredecoded.com as soon as possible after purchase. Once work has commenced, a refund cannot be issued.
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you believe a product has been materially misrepresented in its description, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis. We are not obliged to issue refunds for dissatisfaction with the content of an accurately described product.
Upon purchase, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your own individual job search and career development purposes.

All content on cvdecodedhq.com and within our products — including text, structure, design, analysis, and methodology — is the intellectual property of CV Decoded HQ and is protected by copyright under Irish and EU law.
The CV Decoded HQ name, logo, and brand identity are proprietary. You may not use them without our written permission.
Our Recruiter X-Ray and Application Autopsy reports are professional opinions based on recruiter experience and the information you have provided. They represent our honest assessment of your CV and/or application as a professional reviewer.

The value of our assessments lies in the recruiter perspective they provide, which is inherently subjective. Reasonable recruiters may hold different views. By purchasing an assessment service you acknowledge and accept this.
By submitting content for assessment, you confirm that you are the author or owner of that content, or have the right to share it with us for this purpose.
Our products and services are provided in good faith and based on genuine recruitment experience. However, the job market is subject to many variables outside our control. We cannot guarantee that following our guidance will result in any particular outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, CV Decoded HQ shall not be liable for:
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter where liability cannot be excluded under Irish law.
Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and other applicable Irish and EU consumer protection law are not affected by these terms.
We aim to keep cvdecodedhq.com available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw access to the website at any time without notice for maintenance or other operational reasons.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
If you are a consumer based in another EU member state, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts under applicable EU consumer protection law.
