Plain English summary: We collect only what we need — your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter, and payment information processed entirely by Payhip (we never see your card details). CV Decoded HQ is a digital product business operated as a sole trader in Ireland. We publish and sell career and recruitment intelligence products — including PDF guides, template packs, and written assessment services — via our website at cvdecodedhq.com.
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller in respect of any personal data we process about you.

We maintain internal Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs) as required under GDPR Article 30, available to the Data Protection Commission on request.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We collect nothing else. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or any other personal detail at the point of newsletter subscription.
All purchases are processed by Payhip (our digital product delivery platform). When you buy a product, Payhip collects your name, email address, and payment information on our behalf. We receive from Payhip only your email address and a record of the product purchased, for the purpose of fulfilling your order and providing customer support.
We do not receive, see, or store your card or payment details at any point. These are processed entirely by Payhip and their payment processor (Stripe). Please see Payhip's privacy policy at payhip.com/privacy for full details of how they process your data.
For our Recruiter X-Ray and Application Autopsy services, you may submit CV text and job description content via our intake form (hosted on Tally). This content is used solely to produce your written assessment and is not retained after delivery of your report. We do not store, copy, share, or use your CV content for any other purpose.
We strongly advise that you remove any sensitive personal data (such as your date of birth, national insurance or PPS number, or personal address) from your CV before submitting it. Our assessment does not require this information and we do not want to receive it.
Our website may collect anonymised usage data (such as pages visited and approximate geographic region) via our hosting platform. This data does not identify you personally and is used only to understand how visitors use the site.
If you email us directly, we will hold the content of that correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to and resolve your query.
